Patti Jones resides in Roanoke, VA. She was raised in Wheaton, MD and moved to Roanoke after graduating from the University of Maryland in 1978 with a BA in Fine Arts. She then studied for her Masters in Occupational Therapy at Boston University and graduated in 1980. She met her husband while in Boston and settled in Roanoke where they raised three children who live locally.
Her passions were and still are divided between Hand Rehabilitation (helping others heal from upper extremity injuries) and painting landscapes to reflect the glory of God seen every day in nature. Her adventure in art has traveled a course through various painting medias including oils, watercolor, and acrylics. She enjoys expressing herself through the purity and vibrancy of bright color illuminated by natural light.
Each artist contributes 20% of their art sales to the 1000 Hills Art Project. We greatly appreciate their giving and Land of a Thousand Hills is honored to support our local art community.
