I was born in Roanoke, VA and grew up under the care of two wonderful, loving, southern, hard working parents. I got the travel bug right after graduating college, when I took my first overseas adventure. After this, my life was never the same.
Throughout the years, God has gifted me opportunities to travel to several beautiful countries and experience traditions, meet people, taste foods, and enjoy cultures that have influenced and shaped my life and worldview.
In the recent past, I spent five years in North Carolina and then two years in Northern Africa. I'm currently back in my hometown and am appreciating the mountains, seasons, outdoor life, and people more than I ever have before.
In addition to photography, I like being creative with pallet work and re-purposing/refinishing furniture. I love turning trash to treasure! God has done that with me—taken my wretched, sinful self and restored me to beauty through the work of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!
Art is one way God has gifted me. He’s also given me athleticism and leadership, and from those things I enjoy teaching Bible studies, playing sports, and being a personal trainer. I enjoy pushing others to achieve goals, bust through self limitations, and be fit to live healthy lives that honor God and family.
